Here’s the cover for my upcoming book. Mermaid Blogger is the most difficult book I’ve worked on, because it’s very much its own thing and not related to the whole world I have established in Demonic Cafe. It draws on different life experiences, and it’s hard to know what feels like it belongs in the world of the book and what doesn’t. Right now, I’m struggling a bit to nail down what should happen in the second half of the book.

I’d love to have this out in the spring, but I’m not going to put it out until it’s finished. I plan to do a lot of work on it over the next month or so and hopefully come up with a solid draft; if that doesn’t happen, I’ll have to start over on it and try something different. I think a lot of what I have so far is good, but I just don’t know if it’s “gelling” together as a proper book, if that makes any sense. I’m really excited to share it though, because I think it’s a unique idea and a lot of fun– when it works!
